Find answers to common questions about LiftTrack
LiftTrack is a mobile app designed specifically for Garmin users who want to streamline their strength training. The app allows you to create custom workouts in seconds, sync them directly to your Garmin watch, and track your progress. Simply build your workout in the app, send it to your Garmin device, and start training with guided instructions right on your wrist.
LiftTrack works with most modern Garmin watches that support the native Strength app, including popular models like the Forerunner, Fenix, Venu, Vivoactive, and Instinct series. To confirm if your device supports strength training, check Garmin’s official compatibility list here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=LcYGZd4EOZ9PkTY5YRvin5
Syncing is simple! The app will automatically sync with your Garmin Connect account and push the workout to your connected device. Make sure your Garmin watch is connected to Garmin Connect and that you’re signed into the same account in both apps. The workout will appear in your Garmin Connect app and be available on your watch for your next training session when scheduled.
LiftTrack offers both options! The app comes with a comprehensive library of pre-defined exercises that are optimized for Garmin devices, including proper form cues and tracking capabilities. However, you can also create custom exercises for specialized movements or equipment that might not be in the standard library. Custom exercises will sync to your Garmin watch just like the pre-defined ones.
LiftTrack offers a free tier that includes basic workout creation and syncing capabilities. The subscription plan unlocks advanced features such as unlimited workouts, automatic recurring scheduling, and advanced progressions that automatically adjust your workouts as you improve.
LiftTrack automatically syncs your workout data back from your Garmin watch after each training session. The app tracks your sets, reps, weights, rest times, and workout duration. You can view your progress over time, see strength gains, and analyze your training patterns.
While LiftTrack is specifically designed for Garmin users to take advantage of the seamless integration, you can still use the app to create and organize your workouts. However, you won’t be able to sync workouts to your watch or get the guided training experience on your wrist. The app is primarily optimized for the Garmin ecosystem, so we recommend it for users who have or plan to get a Garmin device.
