What is SetSync?
5/30/20251 min read
Your workouts should evolve with you.
That’s where SetSync comes in.
SetSync automatically updates your synced workouts based on the reps and weights you actually performed—logged right from your Garmin watch. No more manual edits. No guesswork. Just your most up-to-date routine, ready for the next session.
How I use SetSync
Every time I finish a workout, LiftTrack syncs the final weights and reps back into the workout plan. So if I push for 2 extra reps on bench, my next workout reflects that—prompting me to hit 10 reps instead of 8. It’s a simple way to stay progressing.
Tracked it wrong? No problem.
SetSync also runs when you edit a workout from the History tab. So if you logged something incorrectly on your watch, just fix it in the LiftTrack app and your workout will update to match what you actually did.
How to enable SetSync
SetSync is enabled per workout. To turn it on:
Go to the Workouts tab.
Tap on a workout.
Toggle the SetSync switch at the top.
Once enabled, LiftTrack will check for changes every time you complete that workout.
Only reps and weights will be updated—we won’t add/remove sets or exercises.
See what changed
Tap “SetSync Updates” when viewing a workout to review exactly what was modified.
What’s next for SetSync
Soon, you’ll be able to set your own progression rules—like increasing weight after hitting target reps, or adding 5 lbs each week.
Avoid common sync issues:
Don’t modify a workout in LiftTrack until you’ve completed and synced it.
Always track the most recent version of the workout on your watch.
SetSync is the final piece to make LiftTrack your always-up-to-date, auto-adjusting workout system.
Just show up, lift, and let your watch guide the way.
